Yeah, we’ve heard that one a thousand times before… but don’t let that stop you! There’s always a new twist you can find to even the oldest idea. In this case the twist was that the broadcast was being simulcast on a Cable TV sports channel; the video soon went viral. Stunts tend to be more effective for male-orientated brands and ‘edgy’ radio formats. They have more impact when run in parallel with other marketing efforts and are good at creating ‘word-of mouth’ marketing… and that’s the best form of marketing there is!
